Kathleen (Kathy) Elizabeth Humphrey, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, Gigi and friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, after a recent cancer diagnosis. She was born on September 21, 1949, in the quaint town of Caliente, Nevada. Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Grant Muir and Kathleen (English) Foster. Her brother, Allen, predeceased her, as did her parents. Kathleen was married to the love of her life, Richel 'Rick' Humphrey, on January 21, 1988. Together, they crafted a life full of shared dreams. Rick's sudden passing June 1, 2024 left a profound impact on Kathleen. Early in her career, Kathleen worked as a talented cosmetologist, where she touched the lives of many with her artistic flair and warm personality. Later, she chose to devote her full attention to her family as a homemaker. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Kathleen was an avid yard saler, finding joy in discovering hidden treasures and sharing stories with those she met along the way. Her love for animals was equally profound, and she found great joy in the companionship of her furry friends. Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Michele (Ernie) Doren, stepson Robert (Rae) Robertson and her sisters, Pat Jones and Shirley Spurlin. Her legacy continues through her granddaughters, Heather (Chase) Friesen, Marissa Doren, Amberlie (Carson) Newby, and her great-grandchildren, Kayson, Henzlee, Keifer, Daxton, Hayes, Ryett, Truett, and Renlee. Her son, Brian Scott Robertson, precedes her in death, and she is now reunited with him and her beloved Rick. Her kind spirit and infectious smile, will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. Funeral services will be Friday, June 19th at 12 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 234 Boyd Kennedy Road in Spring Creek. Her family invites you to celebrate her life by remembering her kindness and the joy she shared with the world. Please wear bright colors in remembrance of Kathleen. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a pet rescue of your choice in Kathleen's memory, refleclting her love and commitment to helping animals. May her soul find peace and comfort in the eternal embrace of those who went before her.
