It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Katalina Marie Aguilar. Born in Vacaville, California, on September 23, 2026, she graced our lives for a brief, but immeasurably meaningful four days before leaving us on September 27, 2026. Katalina passed away peacefully in our arms at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. During her short time with us, Katalina brought immense joy and love. Her existence, though fleeting, was a beautiful reminder of the purity and innocence that life can offer. She had a gentle spirit and an undeniable presence that touched everyone around her, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Katalina is the beloved daughter of Fernando and Newe-Bun-ni-bie Aguilar, who adored her beyond measure. Her arrival filled their hearts with hope and boundless love, and her departure leaves an aching void that only time and treasured memories can begin to heal. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Everardo Valencia Mondragõn, who now watches over her in heaven. We take solace in the belief that they are together, enveloped in peace and love. In these moments of deep sorrow, we find strength in the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. The Aguilar family wishes to extend their gratitude to the compassionate staff at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco for their exceptional care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Katalina's memory to a children’s charity of your choice, as a tribute to the life and love she brought into the world during her brief time with us.
