She was 61 years old. Born in the bustling city of New York, NY, on February 1, 1965, Karine was the cherished daughter of the late William and Elsie Guillou. Her parents, who predeceased her, instilled in her the values of compassion, resilience, and kindness—traits that Karine carried with her throughout her life and shared with everyone she encountered. Karine spent over 20 years of her life dedicated to the noble profession of nursing. Her career was a testament to her unwavering commitment to helping others, providing care and comfort to countless patients during their most vulnerable times. In 1999, Karine married the love of her life, Sterling Reese, embarking on a journey of love and partnership that spanned 27 beautiful years. Together, they built a family and a home filled with love and laughter, raising two wonderful sons, Sterling and Brandon Reese. Karine's love for her family knew no bounds, and she took immense pride in her role as a nurturing and devoted mother. Karine's legacy lives on through her two sons and her two cherished grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
