Karin Keh-Lin Wang

December 22, 1954 — March 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Karin Keh-Lin Wang, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on March 25, 2026. Surrounded by her loving family and friends, she completed her courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unwavering faith. Karin was born on December 22, 1954, in Taiwan, to her cherished parents, George Chung Min Chao and May Ning-Mei Yu, who predeceased her. She spent her early years in Akron, Ohio, where she graduated from high school. In 1976, Karin earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, marking the beginning of a successful career that included roles at American General, Waste Management, and Premium Computers. Her proudest achievement, however, was the decade she dedicated to raising her children, nurturing them with love and devotion. In 1976, Karin married the love of her life, Henry Hong Wang, in Houston, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life over 50 years, raising two wonderful children, Timothy and Rebecca, and creating a home filled with laughter, joy, and love. Karin's compassionate spirit and commitment to her family were unmatched; she took immense pride in hosting family gatherings, often for more than 30 people, where her famous baked salmon dish was a crowd favorite. Karin's passions extended beyond her home. She was an active member of the Church in Houston and the Shung Shung Dance Group. Even after her Parkinson's diagnosis, she remained fervently involved with The Houston Parkinson's Society, contributing her time and energy to support others, and was even featured on their website for her dedication. Her love for singing, dancing, and solving word games and sudoku puzzles brought joy to those around her. Her garden was a testament to her love of nature, where she spent countless hours tending to vegetables, and her kitchen was a haven of culinary delight. Yet her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, Clara and Kaelynn Wang, who illuminated her life with happiness. Karin's unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a faithful servant of The Lord, always putting Him first. Her kindness knew no bounds, as she selflessly served others by offering rides and buying groceries for those in need. Her home was filled with the joy and love of Christ, and her hymns and verses were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. Karin is survived by her devoted husband, Henry; her loving children, Timothy (and his wife Cindy) and Rebecca; her cherished grandchildren, Clara and Kaelynn; her dear siblings, Margaret Meyer (and husband Darold), Cory Chao (and wife Julie), and Kim Tsenn (and husband Michael), along with their children, Richard Meyer, Daniel Meyer, Brandon Chao, Rachel Chao, Joanna Schwartz, and Frances Park. A memorial service celebrating Karin's life will be held on April 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Winford Funeral Home, 8514 Tybor Dr., Houston, TX 77074. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karin's memory may be made to the Houston Area Parkinson Society at https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E353549&id=1. The family deeply appreciates the compassionate care provided by NDR Manor Home during Karin's final days. Karin Keh-Lin Wang will be remembered as a beacon of love, grace, and faith, whose legacy will continue to touch the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
