Born on November 22, 1959, in Garden Grove, California, Karen was the cherished daughter of William and Wanda Moats, who predeceased her. Karen's life was a testament to the boundless love she had for her family. She was the devoted wife of Bill for 41 years, and together they raised two wonderful children, Chris and Tonya. Her heart was further filled with joy by her six grandchildren: Camie, Corbin, Autumn, Cameron, Khloe, and Isaac, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Karen is also survived by her loving sisters, Lori, Sharon, Becki, and Kelli, with whom she shared countless adventures and cherished memories. A stay-at-home mom for many years, Karen dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding her children, ensuring they were supported in every endeavor. Her journey later took her into the healthcare field, where her dedication and compassion shone brightly. Karen worked her way up to become the executive director of Adam’s House in Myrtle Creek, where she made a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the community. Karen was known for her sweet spirit, her kindness, and her infectious giggle that could lift the spirits of anyone around her. Her passion for family was the cornerstone of her life, and she relished every moment spent with them. Whether traveling with her sisters and children or baking with her grandchildren, Karen's energy and enthusiasm were truly boundless. She found her greatest joy in the simple moments of being a mom and nana, always placing her family at the center of her world. A service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held on August 21, 2026, at 5:30 PM at The River Church, located at 194 N Old Pacific Hwy, Myrtle Creek, OR 97457. Friends and family are welcome to join in honoring her extraordinary life and the love she shared with all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting Karen's generous spirit and her desire to make the world a better place.
