Karen was a devoted mother to Stephen (Allyson) and Kimberly (Ethan), nurturing them with wisdom, compassion, and an endless reserve of love. Her family was her pride, and she poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home. Her legacy continues through her seven adored grandchildren: Caroline (Brian), Anna, Andrew, Mason, Tyler, and Christopher, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Outside of her professional life, Karen was an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Ellicott City, where her faith and community spirit shone brightly. Her kindness and generosity were hallmarks of her character, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Karen had a passion for travel and a deep love for animals, finding joy in exploring new places and sharing those experiences with her family. Her warmth and hospitality were felt by all who visited her home, where she often shared stories of her adventures and laughter that echoed through the halls.
