She departed peacefully on March 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and affection that will endure in our hearts forever. Karen was a beloved wife, devoted mother, and a pillar of strength for her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Carlos Cervantes, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and countless fond memories. Together, they nurtured a loving family, guiding their children with wisdom and grace. Karen was predeceased by her beloved son Carlos "Bubba" Cervantes, her husband Carlos, her siblings Vincent and Nona McKinny, and her dear nephew Chris Valles. Though their absence leaves an indelible void, Karen found solace in the loving embrace of her surviving family. She is survived by her children, Donald, Rayann, Marcos, Alicia, and Anjelica, who were the light of her life. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support fostered a close-knit family, bound by love and shared memories. Karen was also blessed with the joy of 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and joy to her heart. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever echo through the generations she leaves behind. Karen's life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from tending to her garden to sharing stories and laughter with her family. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and welcome, where friends and family gathered to share in the love that Karen so effortlessly radiated. A celebration of Karen's life will be held on May 1, 2026, at 8:46 p.m. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her are invited to come together to honor and remember the beautiful life she lived. As we gather to celebrate her, we will share stories, laughter, and tears, cherishing the memories that will forever keep her spirit alive in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Karen's memory to a charity close to her heart, continuing her legacy of giving and compassion. While we mourn the loss of Karen Cervates, we are comforted by the love she leaves behind.
