Kareem was born on May 12, 2006, in Philadelphia, where he lived a life full of kindness and generosity. Kareem was the cherished son of Marcus and Melinda Poe, who lovingly nurtured his gentle spirit and watched him grow into a remarkable young man. He is also survived by his devoted uncles, David and Thomas Poe, and his beloved aunt, Tameka Richards. Kareem's family was his cornerstone, and they will forever hold him in their hearts. A proud graduate of Franklin Learning Center, Kareem distinguished himself as an honors student, a testament to his dedication and love for learning. Despite his youth, he was known for his exceptional skill with cars, displaying a natural talent as a mechanic. His passion for working on cars was not just a hobby but a calling that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. Kareem will be remembered for his kind and giving nature. He had an innate ability to spread warmth and positivity wherever he went, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His generosity and compassion were unmatched, leaving an indelible mark on his community. A service to honor Kareem's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Nix & Nix Funeral Home, located at 1621 W Dauphin St, Philadelphia, PA 19132. Family, friends, and all whose lives were brightened by Kareem's presence are invited to attend and celebrate the wonderful life he lived. In memory of Kareem, his family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice that supports youth education or community development, causes close to Kareem's heart.
