In Loving Memory of Justyce Sue-Lynn Sohl It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Justyce Sue-Lynn Sohl, who left this world far too soon on April 13, 2026, at the tender age of 17. Born on May 28, 2008, in Norfolk, Nebraska, Justyce brought boundless joy and warmth into the lives of everyone she encountered. Justyce was the cherished daughter of Katie Dohren and Kellen Sohl, and from a young age, she radiated an energy that was both invigorating and infectious. Her journey, though tragically short, was filled with aspirations, achievements, and a vivacious spirit that touched many. A diligent student with a bright future ahead, Justyce was on the brink of completing her education at Hartington-Newcastle Public School. She had set her sights on furthering her studies at Southeast Community College, where she planned to pursue a career in radiography—a field that matched her nurturing nature and desire to help others. Justyce was not only dedicated to her studies, but she was also a valued team member at Accura Healthcare, where she worked as a Dietary Aide for 1.5 years. Her colleagues and those she served remember her as someone who brought a personal touch and heartfelt care to her work, embodying a spirit of service and kindness. A young woman of many talents and interests, Justyce was a vibrant presence in her community. She was an active participant in track, volleyball, and one-act plays, and her commitment extended to mentoring younger students through the Big Cat Little Cat program. Her volunteer work with booster club tournaments showcased her generous spirit and her desire to uplift those around her. Whether on the volleyball court or surrounded by friends and family, Justyce's competitive spirit and zest for life were undeniable. Her personality was a beautiful mosaic of fun, wit, and sincerity. Known for her bubbly, funny, and sarcastic sense of humor, she had a knack for brightening the day of anyone she met. Her outspoken nature and confidence inspired those who knew her to live more boldly and authentically. Tragically, Justyce's life was cut short in a plane crash, leaving a void that can never be filled. Yet, her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her and whose lives she touched with her warmth, her laughter, and her indomitable spirit. A celebration of Justyce's life will be held on April 30, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 106 W Center St. The service will commence at noon, and all who were touched by Justyce's life are invited to join in honoring her memory and the indelible impact she made during her time with us. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a scholarship fund in Justyce's name, which will support aspiring radiography students at Southeast Community College, ensuring that her dream of helping others continues to inspire. As we bid farewell to our dear Justyce, let us remember the light she brought into the world and strive to carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and unyielding spirit.
