Justin Matthew Miller

November 20, 1987 — October 21, 2026

With gratitude for a life that was full of laughter, loyalty, and love, we celebrate Justin Matthew Miller, who passed away on October 21, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the age of 38. Born on November 20, 1987, Justin brought an unmistakable energy to the lives around him. He worked in structural steel fabrication and installation, building a career grounded in hard work and skill. Justin also served his country in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, a chapter of his life that reflected his commitment and service. Justin was the beloved spouse of Michelle Miller and the proud father of Jaylee Miller. He also shared his life with stepdaughters Tara and Hailie Gatton. He was preceded in death by his parents. To know Justin was to know someone who never knew a stranger. He was kind, loving, gregarious, devoted, and wonderfully outgoing. An enthusiastic clown in the very best sense, he loved to make people laugh and brought a sense of fun wherever he went. His love for Tennessee Football was a defining joy in his life; Justin truly lived and breathed Tennessee Football, and that passion was part of the spirit he shared so freely with others. A celebration of life will be held at South Knoxville Worship Center on Thursday, October 29, at 6:00 p.m. Those wishing to support the family may contribute to the GoFundMe for Michelle Miller. Justin Matthew Miller will be remembered for the laughter he created, the devotion he gave, and the bright presence he brought to every room. His life is honored with love, appreciation, and countless memories that will continue to raise a smile.

The 23rd Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
