Justin Jamil Foster

August 17, 1990 — April 4, 2014

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Justin Jamil Foster, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who left this world far too soon on April 4, 2014. Born on August 17, 1990, in the serene town of Rome, Georgia, Justin brought light and laughter to all who knew him during his all-too-brief 23 years. Justin was a beacon of joy and an embodiment of kindness, known for his infectious smile and generous spirit. A proud graduate of Rome High School in 2009, he remained a cherished member of the Rome community, where he cultivated lasting friendships and spread love wherever he went. He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his devoted parents, Betty and John Foster, who cherished him dearly, his beloved sister, Triana Cunningham, and brother, Matthew Cunningham, who shared countless memories and a deep bond. The light of his life, his son, Justin Foster Jr., will continue to carry forward his father’s spirit. Justin also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who will all remember him fondly. Justin was predeceased by his grandmother, Lilly Foster, grandfather, Billy Foster, Aunt Barbara Smith, and Uncle Matthew Foster, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in the hereafter. His life will be celebrated at a memorial service on April 25, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the Life of Jesus in Action, located at 218 Old Airport Road. Family, friends, and all whose lives Justin touched are invited to join us in honoring the life of such a warm and loving soul. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Justin's memory, allowing his spirit of generosity and compassion to continue helping others. As we mourn Justin's passing, let us also remember the joy he brought into our lives. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
