Julio Antonioo Toro
May 24, 1940 — August 24, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Julio Antonio Toro, who left this world on August 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on May 24, 1940, in the quaint town of Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, Julio lived a life rich with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Julio's early years in Hormigueros instilled in him a strong sense of family and the importance of hard work—values that guided him throughout his life. He moved to New York, where he met the love of his life, Maria Luisa Toro. Their marriage, which spanned an incredible 62 years, was a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming four children: Marilyn Williams, Lisa Toro, Julio Antonio Toro, and Eddie Toro, who were all the center of Julio's world.
A devoted family man, Julio's legacy lives on in his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored and who will forever carry forward his spirit and love. His gentle smile and kind heart left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Julio's life was a tapestry of stories woven with the threads of family, friendship, and faith. He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the laughter of his grandchildren, the warmth of family gatherings, and the beauty of a well-tended garden. His generosity and compassion knew no bounds, and he was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need.
A service to honor Julio's remarkable life will be held on September 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Secret Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Julio. This gesture would be a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to helping others.
Julio Antonio Toro will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
