In Loving Memory

Julia Lynn Baltimore
June 25, 1964 — May 1, 2019
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Julia Lynn Baltimore, who departed this world on May 1, 2019, at the age of 54. Born on June 25, 1964, in Lexington, Kentucky, Julia graced our lives with her vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and a heart as big as her smile.
Julia was the cherished daughter of Julia Elaine Baltimore and the late Robert Lee Baltimore Sr. She was predeceased by her youngest brother, her father, and her beloved grandparents, whose memories she held dear. Julia's legacy continues through her devoted family: her three daughters, her seven adoring grandchildren, her two brothers, her loving mother, and her uncle. Each of them carries a piece of Julia's indomitable spirit and cherished memories of her love and warmth.
A proud graduate of Bryan Station High School in Lexington, Kentucky, Julia was an active member of ROTC, embodying the discipline and determination that would later define her life. For over a decade, she dedicated herself to her work at the Holiday Inn North, where her colleagues and guests alike were touched by her kindness and infectious smile. Her passion for hospitality extended beyond her professional life; she could often be found at Meadowthorpe Cafe, a family friend's restaurant, where she delighted in cooking, serving food, bartending, and ensuring every event was a memorable one.
Julia's heart was most full when surrounded by her family. She found immense joy in watching her grandchildren grow, their laughter a melody she cherished. Music filled her soul, and family gatherings were her sanctuary, where her sassy attitude, blunt choice of words, and boundless love shone brightest. Her smile was a beacon of warmth, and her love was a gift she shared generously with all who knew her.
A service to honor and celebrate Julia's life will be held on May 11, 2019, at 10:00 AM at O.L. Hughes Mortuary. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Julia are invited to join in commemorating a life well-lived, a life that left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Dialysis Clinic for their continuous care and support, as well as to all those who have reached out with calls, text messages, donations, and flowers. Your kindness during this difficult time has been a source of comfort and strength.
Julia Lynn Baltimore will be remembered for her fierce love, joyful spirit, and the lasting legacy of family and friendship she leaves behind. Though she has left this world, her memory will forever be a guiding light in the lives of those who were blessed to know her.
