In Loving Memory

Judy Riley
January 11, 1958 — June 14, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Judy Hagebusch Riley, who departed this world on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family at her daughter's home in Waco, Nebraska. Judy was born on January 11, 1958, in the close-knit community of Nowata, Oklahoma, to the late Bill Hagebusch and Emma Jane Corn. She now joins her parents and beloved brother in eternal rest.
Judy's life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication. She was a profoundly devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. Her children, Shelli and Wade McClain, Kim and Wade Stephens, Brandon Collier and Stephanie Magby, and Hayly and Andrew Parker, were the pride and joy of her life. Judy's nurturing spirit extended to her cherished grandchildren—18 in total—and 11 precious great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and the keepers of her stories and traditions.
Judy is also survived by her loving sister, Margaret Randall, and her brothers, John and Steve Hagebusch, who will forever hold her in their hearts as a pillar of strength and affection.
In her professional life, Judy dedicated herself to serving others. She worked with integrity and compassion at the Nowata Sheriff's Department before offering her expertise and warmth to the Cherokee Nation at the Will Rogers Health Center. After years of diligent service, she embraced a well-deserved retirement, which allowed her to devote more time to the activities that brought her joy—most notably, creating lasting memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy found love and companionship with her partner, Randy Riley, who stood steadfastly by her side, sharing in both the joys and challenges of life. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love, a testament to their deep commitment to one another.
Judy's life will be celebrated on June 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Delaware Community Building, where friends and family will gather to honor the remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her grace and kindness.
As we bid farewell to Judy, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared with her and the love she bestowed upon us all. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us of the beauty in simplicity and the power of a loving heart.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Judy's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others.
Rest in peace, dear Judy. Your legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
