Judy Lynn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at her home with her devoted husband, John, by her side. Born on July 30, 1951, to Herman and Christina Lehman, Judy was a beacon of warmth and love throughout her life, touching all who had the privilege to know her. Judy and John were united in marriage on October 13, 1990, embarking on a journey filled with love, laughter, and companionship for 35 splendid years. Together, they built a family that became the center of Judy's world. She is survived by her cherished husband, John, and her children: Michael Lehman and his husband Peter, Donna Woods, Natalie Hatcher and her husband Eric, and her stepdaughter Lisa Jackson and her husband Gary. Judy was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life. A woman of many passions, Judy was renowned for her culinary talents. A die-hard KU basketball fan, she found immense joy in cooking and baking, ensuring that everyone around her always had a full belly and a satisfied heart. Her kitchen was often filled with laughter and the inviting aroma of her famous chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal scotchies, and decadent Kahlua cake. Her macaroni and cheese and beef & barley soup were legendary, leaving lasting memories for all who had the pleasure of savoring her creations. Judy's generous spirit and kind heart made her a beloved member of her community. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will cherish the many memories they created together.
