Judy Kathryn Crosby Daughtrey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Kathryn Crosby Daughtrey, who left this world peacefully at home on September 13, 2026, surrounded by family. Judy was born on January 13, 1950, in Adel, GA the daughter of John and Lettie Crosby, who predeceased her. She is survived by her children, Tommy Daughtrey and his wife Michelle, and Jennifer Taylor and her husband Bryan. Her grandchildren, Anna and Tom Daughtrey and Brynnan, and Genevieve Taylor. Also, survived by her siblings, Shirley Logan and Dick Crosby (Rose) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy was a 1968 graduate from Cook High School and attended Valdosta State University. She was a Probation Officer in Cook County for 25 years and before this she was a dedicated stay at home mother. Judy loved reading, gardening, and cooking for her family. Above all, Judy relished her role as "Grandmommy," attending every softball game, cross country meet, and theater production her grandchildren participated in, cheering them on with her support and love.
