In Loving Memory of Judy Adams It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Judy Adams, who left this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on January 12, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey, Judy graced this world with her nurturing spirit and boundless compassion. Judy was the beloved daughter of Mary Adams and the late John Adams. Her life was a testament to love and devotion, qualities she embraced wholeheartedly. A dedicated mother, she leaves behind her loving children, Aneesah Adams and Taleah Smith, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Judy was a cherished mother-in-law to Phillip Bank, and a doting grandmother to her precious grandchildren, Namir Chiles and Autumn Smith, who brought immense joy to her life. Judy's loving spirit extended to her fur babies, especially her cherished dog, London Adams, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship. Her love for animals was a reflection of her nurturing nature, which also shone brightly in her professional life. As a certified nursing assistant, Judy devoted herself to the care and well-being of others, embodying empathy and generosity in every interaction. Educated in the East Orange, NJ public school system and a proud attendee of Essex County College, Judy was a lifelong learner who valued knowledge and growth. Her feisty yet sweet personality was a beacon of light to all who knew her, as she effortlessly balanced humor and warmth, often leaving a trail of laughter and love in her wake. Judy's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of family, friends, and community. She was a treasured sister to Sumayyah Griggs Rasheed and Aneesah Khaliq-Flournoy, and a dear sister-in-law to Talib Rasheed and Abdul-Malik Flournoy. Her brothers, Victor Adams and John Adams, shared a bond with her that was both unbreakable and cherished. Her nurturing spirit and generosity knew no bounds, especially when it came to children, who held a special place in her heart. Judy was predeceased by her beloved Robert Rahkeem Bennett, and her memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Mary Adams Williams, and her stepfather, Lewis Williams, who supported her with unwavering love. In keeping with Judy's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life and legacy. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable woman she was—a beacon of love, strength, and compassion. In our hearts, Judy Adams' spirit will forever remain, a guiding light of warmth and love. Her laughter, her nurturing touch, and her unyielding generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her. As we say goodbye, we carry forward her legacy of kindness, knowing that her spirit lives on in the lives she touched so deeply. Rest in peace, dear Judy. You will be profoundly missed and eternally remembered.
