Judith was born on January 29, 1945, in the quaint town of Norco, Louisiana, to the late Tim and Edith Borne. Her life was a testament to the enduring power of love, grace, and resilience. Judith was a devoted wife to the late Floyd Borne Sr, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage that began on November 28, 1968. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and deep affection. Though Floyd preceded her in death, Judith never wavered in her commitment to the family they built together. Judith was also predeceased by her brothers, Floyd Borne Jr and Gerard Borne Sr, whose memories she held dear throughout her life. Her legacy lives on through her treasured grandchildren, Jared, Jeffery, Gerard Jr, and Garrett, who brought immense joy to her life. Though she did not have the blessing of great-grandchildren, she showered her love and wisdom upon her grandchildren, shaping them into the remarkable individuals they are today. A woman of simple pleasures, Judith was an avid birdwatcher and a talented baker. She found solace and beauty in the natural world, spending countless hours observing the wonder of birds in their natural habitat. The kitchen was her sanctuary, where she crafted delectable treats that brought smiles to the faces of all who had the pleasure of tasting them. Her pies and cookies were legendary among family and friends, and her kitchen was always a warm, welcoming place filled with the aroma of love. Judith's life was a beacon of kindness and humility. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her memory. While we cannot all be together to celebrate her remarkable life, we encourage those who knew her to carry a piece of Judith's spirit with them — to find joy in nature, to share kindness generously, and to cherish those we hold dear. May Judith Borne rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before her, and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
