It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Kelley, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Judith departed this world peacefully on May 14, 2026, due to unexpected medical complications. She was 83 years old. Judith was born on April 26, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Felton and Evelyn Richardson. She was a vibrant soul whose presence was a source of warmth and joy to all who knew her. Judith's spirit was characterized by an unwavering love for her family and friends, as well as a zest for life that was contagious. Judith's journey through life began in Norfolk. She spent her early years surrounded by the love of her parents and her brother, Cliffy, who predeceased her. After graduating from Fillmore High School in 1961, she pursued her passion for beauty and attended Beauty School in Oxnard, California, in 1962. She touched the lives of many through the years with her kind heart and listening ear. Though she faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, it was her family that brought her the greatest joy. Judith was the proud and devoted mother of three children: Robert (Sandra), Ronald, and Rebecca. Her legacy lives on through her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward the values and love she instilled in them. Judith's life was enriched by her siblings, Dick (Martha) and Nancy (Darrell), with whom she shared countless cherished memories. Her presence was a constant source of support and laughter for her five nieces and nephews, as well as their children, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Judith's passions were as varied as they were vibrant. She was an avid traveler, always eager to explore new horizons and experience the wonders of the world. Her love for books opened doors to countless adventures and perspectives, while movies provided her with stories that touched her heart and stirred her imagination. Dancing was another of her great loves, a testament to the joy and rhythm she found in life. Though she was not married at the time of her passing, Judith's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and shared moments. Her genuine spirit and compassionate nature made her a beloved friend to many, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. As we celebrate Judith Ann Kelley's life, we remember her as a beacon of love and light, a woman whose presence made the world a better place. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. A private family service will be held to honor Judith's life and legacy. May Judith rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever dancing among the stars.
