Jubilee Juruena Fejaran

November 29, 1974 — September 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of Jubilee Juruena Fejaran, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, who left this world on September 3, 2026, at the age of 51. Jubilee was born on November 29, 1974, in the coastal town of Port Hueneme and lived majority of her life in San Diego, where she began a life that would touch countless hearts with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. Jubilee was the beloved daughter of Tiburcio Tira Juruena Jr. and Perla Zarate Juruena, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience that she carried throughout her life. She graduated from University City High School in 1992 and pursued higher education with a fervor, earning a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University in 1999. Her dedication to learning did not stop there; she furthered her education in the 2000s by obtaining a Master's degree in Public Administration. For 24 years, Jubilee dedicated her professional life to serving the community through her work with the County of San Diego. Her most recent role as an HR specialist at the County Library was a testament to her commitment to helping others and her ability to bring out the best in everyone she encountered. In 2013, Jubilee married her soulmate, Joseph Iglesias Fejaran, in a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii. Their 13 years of marriage were filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures, building a life that was deeply rooted in mutual respect and devotion. Jubilee was the proud mother of two children: her daughter, Miriya Lynne Juruena Espericueta, and her son, Alan Steven Garner III. Her heart was further filled with joy by her grandson, Miko Angelino Espericueta, with whom she cherished every moment spent together. Jubilee's life was enriched by her diverse interests and hobbies. She was an avid runner and found joy in traveling, trying new cuisines, and collecting sneakers. Her love for shopping was only surpassed by her love for her family, with whom she shared her adventures and discoveries. Her presence was a beacon of love and positivity, marked by her witty humor and the ability to see the best in those around her. Jubilee's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met, inspiring many to follow their paths with courage and grace. Her family finds solace in her favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV): "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." This passage reflects her unwavering faith and the guidance she sought from the Lord throughout her life. Jubilee is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph; her loving children, Miriya and Alan; her cherished grandson, Miko; and her dear parents, Tiburcio and Perla. Her legacy of love, kindness, and perseverance will continue to inspire those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jubilee's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring her generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place.
