Juanita Sanchez, a cherished soul whose life was a testament to love and kindness, passed away peacefully at her home on October 11, 2026. Born on June 12, 1931, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Juanita was a beloved beacon of warmth and compassion throughout her 95 years. Juanita's life was built around her family, whom she adored deeply. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernesto Sanchez, and their sons, Jose, Angel, Victor, and Ernesto Jr., as well as daughters Elisa, Gladys, and Balde. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her surviving family members, including her sister Maria, and daughters Miriam, Edis, and Lucy. She was also blessed with the love of 33 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and a growing number of great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Affectionately known for her beautiful heart and loving soul, Juanita's kindness touched everyone who had the fortune of knowing her. Her family fondly remembers her as the best mother in the world, a title she wore with pride and dedication. Friends and family alike were drawn to her gentle spirit and the genuine warmth she extended to all. A service to honor and celebrate Juanita's extraordinary life will be held on October 15, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Home, located at 374 Danforth Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07305. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Juanita's memory, to continue her legacy of giving and compassion.
