It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Juanita Jackson Walls, who departed from this world on February 15, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on January 19, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Juanita lived a life abundant with love, resilience, and dedication to her family and community.
Juanita was the cherished daughter of the late Willie Lee Jackson Sr. and Helen Jackson, who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dear brother, Fernando Jackson.
Juanita is survived by her devoted husband, William J.E. Walls, who stood by her side throughout life's journey. Together, they created a beautiful family, blessed with two sons, DàWayne Reed and DeShawn Lafayette Reed, and two daughters, Nicole Reed and Jwan Morehead. Her legacy lives on through her ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
She was the beloved sister of five brothers, Willie L. Jackson Jr., Tommy L. Jackson, Walter Jackson, Wallace Jackson, and Tony Jackson, and one sister, Latashia Jackson. The bonds she shared with her siblings were a testament to her loving nature and unwavering support for those she cherished.
Juanita’s educational journey began at Riverdale High, where she graduated with grace and ambition. Her passion for learning and growth continued throughout her life, inspiring those around her.
She was not only a pillar of strength for her family but also a beacon of light in her community. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of countless people, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Juanita’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., held at Jesse E. Cooleys, located at 1830 S. Fruit, Fresno, CA 93706. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will endure.
