Juan Jose Guerrero, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Peacefully passed away at home on September 3, 2026. Born on August 7, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas. Juan was the treasured son of the late Juan and Rosa Guerrero. Throughout his life, Juan embodied the spirit of dedication, service, and love. Leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Alongside his brothers, he took on his first job delivering newspapers for the San Antonio Express and News, a role that instilled in him the values of diligence and responsibility. These qualities served him well as he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1977 and later joined the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served his country with honor and distinction. Following his military service, Juan contributed his skills to Randolph Air Force Base, where he worked for many years. His commitment to his work was only surpassed by his devotion to his family, who remained the center of his world. Juan's love for life was contagious, whether he was following the family tradition by going to Lockhart, Texas, for BBQ with his brothers and sister, or enjoying the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle during weekend rides. He cherished every moment spent at family gatherings, proudly sharing stories and pictures of his beloved grandson, Gunner, who brought him immense joy. Juan is survived by his loving son, Joseph Guerrero, and his cherished grandson, Gunner Guerrero, who will continue to honor his legacy with pride. He is also survived by his devoted siblings: brother Philip (Linda) Guerrero, Frederick Guerrero, Ricardo Guerrero, Edward Guerrero, and sister Patricia Rundblade. The bond Juan shared with his family was unbreakable, offering strength and comfort through life's journey. The Guerrero family will announce memorial details at a later date, and they invite all who knew Juan to join them in honoring a life well-lived. Juan's legacy of love, service, and laughter will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched.
