It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of Juan Antonio Alonso Estrada, affectionately known to many as "El Cholo," who departed this world on December 20, 2025. Born in the vibrant heart of Michoacán, México, on June 15, 1991, Juan's journey was one enriched with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family and community.
From the earliest days of his life, Juan was surrounded by the warmth and love of his parents, Miguel Angel Alonso and Consuelo Estrada, who instilled in him the values of kindness and generosity that would define his character. Growing up in Michoacán, Juan was a beacon of quick wit and charm, always ready with a joke to lift spirits and a smile that could light up any room.
In 2012, Juan married his beloved Olga Camilo Flores, with whom he shared a profound partnership and three wonderful children: Juan Miguel, Sherlyn, Mariluz and later a beautiful daughter Quetzalli with his other significant partner Xochitl Cervantes. Their home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, a testament to Juan's belief in the importance of family. Though their time together was tragically shortened, the love they shared will be a lasting legacy.
Juan's dedication to family extended beyond his own household. He was a cherished brother to Joel, Jose, Miguel, Rosa, Pilar, and Guadalupe, each of whom benefitted from his boundless generosity and humor. Juan's nurturing spirit and ability to make everyone feel valued created a familial bond that will endure in the hearts of his siblings.
Preceding Juan in death are his beloved grandparents, Ismael, Ernestina, Ezequiel, and Juana, as well as his firstborn son, Ismael, whose memories remain tenderly cherished in the hearts of family and friends.
A man of profound generosity, Juan gave selflessly to others, often offering his time and energy even when his own resources were scarce. His warmth touched countless lives, and his kindness created ripples of positivity in his community.
In his passing, Juan leaves behind a legacy not only of love and laughter but also of compassion and generosity. Though we mourn his loss, we celebrate the indelible impact he made on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Juan Antonio Alonso Estrada's journey may have ended, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of his wife, children, parents, siblings, and all those who had the privilege of calling him a friend. His laughter, love, and light will forever be remembered and cherished.
May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
