It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Joyce Morgan Carr, who departed this world peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on September 8, 1943, Joyce graced this world with a presence as bright and welcoming as her radiant smile and piercing blue eyes. Joyce met the love of her life, Donald (Gene) Carr, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of 66 years of marriage. Together, they built not just a home, but a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. The couple found joy in traveling and shared a passion for home remodeling, a testament to Joyce's exceptional artistic flair and Gene's skillful craftsmanship. Their collaborative spirit turned houses into homes, creating inviting spaces that reflected Joyce's warm and generous nature. A devoted wife, cherished mother, and beloved grandmother, Joyce's family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her dear husband Gene, her loving children, Tod Carr and his wife Courtney, and Jenna Arnold and her husband Lee. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren, Samuel Carr and Alexandra Clark, along with her husband Ross, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Joyce delighted in watching her grandchildren excel in sports and school events, always their biggest cheerleader, her pride evident in every smile and word of encouragement. Joyce's life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and dedication. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support enriched the lives of her family and friends. She had a unique ability to see beauty in the world and in people, a gift she shared freely with all who crossed her path. A private ceremony will be held to honor Joyce's life, as she wished for her family to gather in an intimate setting to celebrate the memories and love they will forever hold dear. Though she is no longer with us, the light of Joyce's spirit will continue to illuminate the hearts of those she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Joyce's name to a charity of your choice, as a reflection of her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Joyce Morgan Carr's journey on earth has ended, but her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will endure, inspiring all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, her memory a blessing to us all.
