Celebrating the life of Joyce Marie Lerold, who passed away peacefully on the 28th of October, 2026, in Kimball, Minnesota. She will be interred at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Waite Park, Minnesota. Joyce Marie Lerold was born on December 16, 1940, in Minneapolis to Vincent and Alice Franzig. Joyce is survived by her children, Bart Lerold (Cheri), Vince Lerold (Mary), Tiffany Lerold; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Marie Berg; and Donald Lerold.

Poem / Prayer

"Lord God Almighty, You are the One who was, and is, and is to come. In Your presence, the angels cry 'Holy, Holy, Holy,' and today we lift our voices to You from the depths of our grief. We thank You for the life of Joyce, for the love they shared, and for the footprints they left on our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that their earthly struggles are over, and that they are now resting in Your perfect, holy, and eternal peace. Lord, as we commit their body to the ground—earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust—we do not do so without hope. We do so in the sure and certain hope of the resurrection, trusting in Your promise that death has been conquered. We ask that You pour out Your peace, which surpasses all human understanding, upon this family and everyone gathered here today. Comfort the brokenhearted, uphold those who are crushed in spirit, and remind us daily of Your closeness. As we leave this place, may Your holy presence guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and guard our hearts until that day when You wipe away every tear from our eyes, and we are reunited in Your heavenly kingdom. In Your holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.”
