Joyce Lee Burback, a beloved mother, grandmother and cherished friend, passed peacefully from this life on June 13, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by the love and comfort of her children. Born on March 7, 1941, in Casper, Wyoming, Joyce was a beacon of warmth and joy, leaving a legacy as bright as her spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father Donivan, mother Frances, step mother Marge, sisters and multiple half and step siblings, and son Gerald (Jerry). She is survived by her children Rebecca (Becky), Eva (Beth), and Donivan, six grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren.
Joyce was a woman of many talents and passions. Her love for sewing and crafting was renowned among friends and family alike. Her creations, whether sewn or crafted, were valued by family, friends and strangers. Her social nature endeared her to many, and her presence was a cherished light in countless lives. Joyce had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, a quality that made her an extraordinary friend.
Family was the cornerstone of Joyce's life. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, guidance, and unconditional love.
In accordance with Joyce's wishes, no formal services will be held. Her family invites all those who knew and loved her to honor her memory by sharing fond recollections and stories, ensuring that her spirit continues to live on through the love and laughter she inspired.
Although Joyce's physical presence is no longer with us, her legacy of kindness, creativity, and familial devotion remains an indelible part of the lives she touched. Her family finds solace in knowing that she is now at peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before her.
Her wit, loving nature, and caring heart will forever be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
