Joyce's journey began in the close-knit community of Olympia Mills, where she developed her indomitable spirit and passion for life. A proud graduate of Olympia High School in 1972, Joyce carried the values of her upbringing into all her endeavors. Her career was marked by dedication and loyalty, with many years spent as a respected employee at Budweiser of Columbia and Long's Drugs. These roles allowed her to form lasting friendships and contribute to her community with her characteristic enthusiasm and warmth. Joyce was a woman of boundless energy and an unselfish heart, renowned for her determination and nurturing nature. She embraced each day with vivacity and compassion, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her radiant spirit was a beacon of hope and kindness, inspiring those around her to live with intention and empathy. In her personal life, Joyce was a devoted mother and grandmother, finding her greatest joys in the loving moments shared with her family. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Meredith Lea Fallin, and her adored granddaughters, Gabrielle Fallin and Ava Joy Epperson, who were the light of her life. Joyce's enduring legacy of love and resilience will continue to guide them as they carry forward her memory. Joyce is also survived by her siblings, her dear brother Richard Bubba Hicks, and her loving sisters, Merrie Kirkland, Dawn Callahan, and Pattie Rosenfeld. Joyce's former spouse, John Meredith English, remains a part of her extended family, sharing in the gratitude for the years they spent together.
