Joyce was the youngest child of John and Mary Gruber, and she was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Jerry, Herman, Sherman, Bertha, and Vivian. She grew up surrounded by the close-knit embrace of her large family, learning the values of hard work and togetherness that she would carry throughout her life. For 40 years, Joyce shared a beautiful marriage with Greg Roberts, who preceded her in death. Their love story was one of devotion and partnership, and together they built a life centered around family and community. Joyce found immense joy in her role as a stay-at-home mother and grandmother, dedicating her life to nurturing and supporting those she held dear. Family was the cornerstone of Joyce's life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love through her six grandchildren—Tammy, Judith, William, Jeffrey, Kimberly, and Diana—and her thirteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Joyce was an active and devoted member of the First Baptist Church for four decades, where she found spiritual fulfillment and lifelong friendships. Her faith was a guiding light, inspiring those around her with her kindness and unwavering spirit. Known for her warmth and hospitality, Joyce had a passion for cooking and was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing meals and laughter. Her hands were as familiar with the soil of the farm she loved as they were with the ingredients in her kitchen, nurturing both the land and her loved ones. In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private ceremony, and Joyce will be cremated and laid to rest beside her beloved husband. The family invites those who wish to honor Joyce's memory to make a donation to a charity of their choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Joyce's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown by friends and family during this difficult time. While there will be no formal services, they cherish the shared memories and the impact Joyce had on everyone she met. Though she is no longer with us, Joyce A.
