Jovon Manor, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and respect that will be cherished forever. Born on December 7, 1988, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jovon was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Jovon was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Barbara Manor-Riley and his father. He is lovingly survived by his cherished children, Jaycion Manor and TJ, who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Rashunda Manor, and his step-brother and best friend, Clemon Roach, with whom he shared countless joyful family outings. A proud graduate of Clark High School, Class of 2006, Jovon dedicated his career to serving his community as a Correctional Officer for the City of Las Vegas. His professionalism and commitment to his work were a testament to his character and dedication. Jovon's true joy in life came from spending time with his beloved sons and extended family. He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, like adventurous trips to the desert for target shooting and exploring various culinary delights, with his favorite being the delectable offerings of Raising Cane's Chicken. Those who knew Jovon will forever remember him as a respectful, loving man with a mature soul, a reflection of the nurturing upbringing he received from his late mother. His presence brought a sense of peace and warmth to everyone he encountered. A service to honor and celebrate Jovon's life will be held on September 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kraft Sussman Funeral Home, located at 3975 S. Durango Dr #104, Las Vegas, Nevada. Family, friends, and all whose lives Jovon touched are invited to gather in remembrance of a wonderful man taken too soon. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support, including the many cards, flowers, donations, and kind words shared during this difficult time. They kindly request that any donations in Jovon's memory be made to a charity of your choice, in keeping with his generous spirit and love for his community.
