Joshua James Marks

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved family member and drear friend, Joshua James Marks. Joshua was born on February 20th, 1990. It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of Joshua, who left us far too soon. His loss leaves a space that can never be filled, though his laughter and warmth will echo in our memories forever. Joshua was a bright light in a world that can so often feel dark. His quick humor, kind heart, and easy smile had a way of lifting those around him—whether he was sharing a joke, lending a hand, or simply being his genuine self. Everyone who met him walked away feeling lighter, warmer, and more seen. He now joins his father, James, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms. Left to cherish his memory are his loving brothers, Luke and Michael, whose bond with him was deep and unbreakable. He also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends who adored him, laughed with him, and will forever be changed by his presence. Though his time here was painfully short, Joshua lived it fully—spreading joy, love, and light in every place he touched. His spirit will live on in the sound of laughter, in shared memories, and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. We are deeply saddened by this loss. Our hearts go out to those close to them. We remember the beautiful person that they were and take solace in knowing that they are now at peace. Rest in peace, Joshua James Marks.
