Born on September 16, 1986, in the quaint town of Foley, Alabama, Joshua's life was a testament to kindness, community, and unyielding dedication. Joshua was the beloved son of David Anthony Baria and Marie Ann Stapleton, who instilled in him values of compassion and resilience. He graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2008, a milestone that marked the beginning of a life dedicated to the service of others. Joshua's academic achievements reflected his commitment to learning and his desire to make a meaningful impact in the world. Known affectionately by friends and family as Josh, Joshua was a beacon of hard work and altruism, consistently going above and beyond to support those in need within his community. His warmth and generosity were a source of comfort and inspiration to many, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. Joshua's journey was shared with a loving family who predeceased him, including his cherished brother, Chris, and Rosie Baria of Bon Secour, Alabama, and sister Kellie Weaver and Juan Lopez of Mobile, Alabama. Though they have gone before him, the memories they created together remain etched in the hearts of all who knew them. In addition to his immediate family, Joshua was blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a vast circle of friends who became family. Each relationship he cultivated was marked by warmth and authenticity, qualities that defined his character and enriched the lives of those around him. Joshua's final resting place will be beside his father, grandfather, and grandmother at Mobile Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest following a private cremation on April 10, 2026. His life will be honored in a private ceremony on April 8, 2026, attended by his closest family and friends who will gather to celebrate the joy and love he brought into this world. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and community spirit that will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing him.
