Josh Chapman
July 21, 1990 — May 11, 2026
In loving memory of Josh Chapman, a cherished soul who brought warmth, laughter, and an indomitable spirit into the lives of all who knew him. Born on July 21, 1990, in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, Josh's journey on this earth came to a heartfelt close on May 11, 2026, after suffering a stroke. His passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his beloved family and friends.
Josh was the adored son of Michelle Webb and John Chapman, who instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and love. He is survived by his devoted partner, Jenifer Dooley, and his treasured children: Damien, Lexi, Aiden, and Ryder Chapman. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of his siblings, Carlotta and Terrill Woodley, his Uncle Donnie, and cousin Troy Webb, along with numerous cousins who were all an integral part of his extended family.
Throughout his life, Josh's journey took him through various roles, but it was at HEB, where he worked as an overnight stocker, that he truly found a community. Josh loved his work and cherished the friendships he made, many of whom he considered family. His colleagues remember him as someone who brought light and camaraderie to the workplace, often lifting spirits with his infectious humor and the best laugh in the world.
Josh's love for food was legendary, with his palate embracing everything but onions and olives. He found joy in the simple pleasure of sharing a meal, often surrounded by his cherished children and friends. Whether trying a new recipe or enjoying a familiar favorite, his appreciation for culinary delights mirrored his zest for life.
Known for his extraordinary sense of humor, Josh had a unique gift for making people laugh, regardless of how annoying he might have been in the process. His laughter was a melody that brought comfort and joy to those around him. Above all, Josh was a devoted father whose love for his children knew no bounds. He was a guiding light in their lives, and his affection and commitment to them were unwavering.
A service to celebrate Josh's life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 14501 N Interstate HWY 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the life of a remarkable man whose spirit will forever remain with us.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who have shown their love and support during this difficult time. Special thanks to the NE Baptist Hospital staff for their tireless efforts and care, and to the funeral home for their compassionate assistance in laying Josh to rest with dignity and grace.
