Josie's life was enriched by her membership in the Thrive Church and her active participation at the Senior Citizens Center, where she found community and joy in her later years. Her passions were as varied as they were vibrant. She had a deep love for golf and travel, exploring the world with an adventurous spirit. Josie's creativity shone through her sewing and crocheting, crafts that she lovingly shared with family and friends. The melodies of the Swing Era were the soundtrack to her life, as she adored dancing to big band music and relished watching classic films on Turner Classic Movies. An independent and strong-willed woman, Josie proudly became an American citizen in 1957. Her love for America was profound, and she took great pride in her citizenship. A celebration of Josie's life will be held on August 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, located at 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, Oregon 97524.
