He grew up in a close-knit family, and his parents, Gloria and Joseph Sr., raised him with values of compassion, integrity, and resilience. He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Gloria and Joseph Stephens Sr., as well as cherished family members Sharonda Benton, Natasha Williams, Fashionette Stephens, Tanika Kilpatrick, Crashawn Newman, Casta Newman, Camryn Newman, Advira Dunn, Lynden Dunn, Hendrex Dunn, Joesiah Stephens, Lailani Stephens, Syncere Stephens, Amia Stephens, Anyla Stephens, Joezier Stephens, Alayja and Joelija Stephens, Joseph Stephens, and Dynasty Benchoff. Each of these individuals held a special place in Joseph's heart, and he often spoke fondly of the memories they shared. Joseph's life was a testament to the power of love and community. He was a devoted family man, always putting the needs of others before his own.
