Born on November 22, 1934, in Honduras, Joseph was the beloved son of James Noel Griffith and Eliza Roach Griffith (née Grell). He was a man of great strength and character, whose life was a testament to hard work and the love of family. Joseph was a skilled construction worker who took immense pride in his craft. His dedication to his work was unparalleled, and he passed on his knowledge and passion for construction to his son and grandson, ensuring that his legacy would continue through the generations. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Geneva Griffith (née Pollack), his parents, his brothers Edward, Arthur, and Samuel Griffith, his sister Kate Humes, and his sons Colin Griffith, Michael Clark, daughter Louis Clark, and Estella Flowers. Despite these profound losses, Joseph remained a pillar of strength for his surviving family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Carol Forbes (Donald) and Althea Ferrell (Michael), his son Joseph Griffith (Ruth), his brother Daniel Griffith, and his sister Maebel Neal.
