It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Joseph Michael Giannetta, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, who left this world too soon on May 27, 2026, at the age of 40. Born on August 28, 1985, in Columbus, Ohio, Joseph was a beacon of light and kindness, whose warmth touched the lives of everyone he met. Joseph spent most of his life dedicated to his work as a mechanic, a profession that not only showcased his remarkable skills but also his innate ability to solve problems with patience and precision. His commitment to his craft was only rivaled by his commitment to his family and community. A devoted member of the Forest Community Fellowship Church in Umatilla, Florida, Joseph was known for his selfless nature and unwavering desire to lend a helping hand. Whether it was volunteering at church events or sharing his expertise with friends and family, Joseph's generosity knew no bounds. His adventures with the Rainbow Gathering allowed him to connect with diverse communities, further enriching his life and those around him. Joseph was the cherished son of Michael Giannetta and Paula Giannetta, and Nancy and Glenn Orange. He was a proud and dedicated father to his children, Joseph and Chloe Giannetta, who were the center of his universe. He is also survived by his siblings, Stephanie Giannetta, Dreama and Nicholas Potter, and Angelique Orange, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Orange, his grandparents, Albert and Theresa Giannetta, and his grandmother, Pamela Aldridge. Their memories will remain a guiding light for the family. Those who knew Joe will remember his infectious smile and his ability to find joy in the simplest of things. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. A memorial service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Forest Community Fellowship Church, located at 15475 SE 182nd Ave Rd, Umatilla, FL. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his memory and to share stories of the joy he brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, Joseph's family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Joseph's generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Joseph Michael Giannetta will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
