Joseph Mack Jr
January 3, 1962 — July 25, 2026
Joseph Mack Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2026. Born on January 3, 1962, in the serene surroundings of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, Joseph's life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication.
Joseph was the cherished son of Martha Ann Mack and Charles Robinson. Growing up amidst the natural beauty of Wadmalaw Island, Joseph developed a deep appreciation for family and community. He graduated from St. Johns High School in 1977, where he was known for his warm spirit and quick smile.
In 1989, Joseph began his career as a laundry attendant on Seabrook Island and Kiawah Island, where he worked until 1993. His colleagues remember him as a hard worker with an infectious laugh who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Joseph's unwavering faith and love for his family were the cornerstones of his life. He shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with his beloved wife, Annette Mack. Together, they built a nurturing home filled with laughter and love. Joseph was a devoted father to his children, Nicolle Singleton and Joseph Mack III, both of whom preceded him in death. He took immense pride in his grandchildren—Jaden Brown, Symphonie Singleton, Javion Mack, Zymair Mack, and Ayden Mack—who were the light of his life.
Joseph is also survived by two sisters, three brothers, and a large extended family of nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nicolle Singleton and son Joseph Mack III, whose memories he cherished dearly.
A service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at New Jerusalem AME, 6179 Bears Bluff Rd, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose life was marked by generosity and an unwavering love for those around him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Joseph's spirit of giving and compassion.
Joseph Mack Jr. will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
