He was surrounded by the love and presence of his family, who meant the world to him. Joseph was born on August 13, 1954, in the vibrant city of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Debra and Gary Komarek. From a young age, Joseph demonstrated a zest for life and an unyielding curiosity about the world. His upbringing was filled with love, instilling in him the compassionate and steadfast spirit that would define his character throughout his days. In his adolescence, Joseph's adventurous spirit led him to explore various interests and pursuits. His journey through life was marked by resilience, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to his loved ones. Joseph’s warm and approachable nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joseph’s greatest joy in life was his family. He shared a beautiful and enduring partnership with his loving wife, Carla Komarek. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their bond was a testament to mutual respect and unwavering support, serving as a beacon of love to all who knew them. As a proud and devoted father to his son, Josh Komarek, Joseph embraced the joys and challenges of parenthood with grace and enthusiasm. His legacy of love extended to his six grandchildren, Ethan, Jackson, Ella, Sutton, Kason, and Gabe Komarek, each of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life. Though Joseph did not have the opportunity to welcome great-grandchildren, his love and wisdom will undoubtedly guide his family for generations to come.
