It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Joseph Hulten, who left this world on June 20, 2026, at the tender age of 20. Born on May 17, 2006, in San Jose, CA, Joseph was a beacon of light and laughter in the lives of all who knew him. He departed peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with leukemia, a testament to his enduring bravery and resilience. Joseph was a proud graduate of Modesto High School, Class of 2024. He brought joy and creativity to every classroom and cherished the friendships and memories he formed during his educational journey. His passion for learning and his quick wit were a source of inspiration to his peers and teachers alike. From a young age, Joseph had a remarkable ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. He spent countless hours building intricate Lego creations, each structure a testament to his imagination and patience. Joseph had an eye for hidden treasures, delighting in the thrill of thrifting and unearthing unique finds on Facebook Marketplace. His collection of bones was a reflection of his curious nature and his desire to understand the world around him. Joseph's humor was infectious, and he was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. His ability to bring laughter into the room was a gift he shared generously, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His kindness and warmth were unparalleled, and his gentle spirit touched the hearts of many. A service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on July 19, 2026, at 4:30 PM at the McHenry Mansion, located at 906 15th St, Modesto, CA 95354. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Joseph are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the joy he brought into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joseph's memory to leukemia research organizations, to continue the fight against the disease that took him from us too soon. Joseph's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and the boundless joy he shared with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know his gentle soul.
