Born on October 25, 1958, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Joseph was a cherished son to Marion and Idella Carson and a source of immense joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Joseph's early years were marked by a robust and lively spirit, which he carried throughout his life. He graduated from Lincoln High School, where he began to hone the comedic talents that would become his hallmark. Known for his ability to elicit laughter and lighten the heaviest of hearts, Joseph had a rare gift for turning moments of sorrow into times of joy. Mae Rivers, Loreen Battle, Elouise Smith, Christine Rotilu, Dr. Georgia Coleman (Ty Minter), Georgianne Carson, and Josephine Jessup. His spirit lives on in his cherished children: Marcus Carson, Joseph Carson Jr., Trenten Carson, Malik Carson, Nigel Carson, Domonic Foster, Zion Cole, and Terrel Wiggins. Joseph was a proud grandfather to Hosanna Carson and Micah Carson, who will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
In addition to his immediate family, Joseph leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by his kindness and humor. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, ensuring that his laughter and love continue to resonate in the world.
A celebration of Joseph's life will be held on June 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Gail & Wynn's Mortuary, located at 1300 Bruton Blvd, Orlando, FL 32805, United States. Family, friends, and all whose lives Joseph touched are invited to gather and remember a man who was as much a part of our laughter as he was of our lives.
