In Loving Memory

Joseph Conrad Remedios
May 16, 1931 — October 29, 2026
Joseph Conrad Remedios, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, peacefully slept in the Lord on October 29, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on May 16, 1931, in the serene landscapes of Goa, Joseph was the cherished son of the late Cajetan and Alvita Remedios.
Joseph led a life marked by dedication and service. He proudly served in the Indian Air Force, where his commitment to his country was as unwavering as his commitment to his family. Following his military service, Joseph embarked on a fulfilling career as an electrical engineer. His keen mind and industrious nature left a lasting impact in every project he undertook, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and community.
Outside of his professional life, Joseph found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening. His garden was a testament to his nurturing spirit and love for nature—a vibrant oasis that brought peace and beauty to all who visited. It was in these tranquil moments among the flowers and plants that Joseph found solace and happiness.
Joseph's legacy lives on through his children and seven wonderful grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He was a guiding presence, offering wisdom, kindness, and laughter to those he loved dearly. His family was always at the heart of his existence, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.
A service to celebrate Joseph's remarkable life will be held on November 4, 2026, at 15:00 at St Francis Xavier's Cathedral. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor his memory, sharing stories and reminiscing about the extraordinary man who touched so many lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, a gesture that would reflect Joseph's generous and compassionate spirit.
The Remedios family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Johns Hospital, as well as to Caregiver Sudipto, for their devoted care and support during Joseph's final days.
Joseph Conrad Remedios will be remembered for his unwavering faith, love for his family, and the kindness he bestowed upon everyone he met. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
