March 11, 1978 — September 11, 2026

Josefina Salazar, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 11, 1978, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Josefina was a beacon of light to all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of Marcelino and Josefina Salazar. Known for her kind and loving nature, Josefina always had a smile on her face, brightening any room she entered. Her warmth and compassion were felt deeply by all who had the privilege of crossing her path. Josefina is survived by her devoted husband, Juan Pedro Lara, who stood by her side with unwavering love and support. She leaves behind their children, who were the pride and joy of her life: her son Jovanny Salazar and her daughters Arely Lara and Sarah Lara, as well as her son Uriel Lara. Josefina's legacy of kindness and love lives on in each of them. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Josefina's life on September 25, 2026, at 4:00P.M at Holy Name. This service will be a time to honor her beautiful spirit and the indelible mark she left on this world. As we remember Josefina, let us cherish the love and joy she brought into our lives, and strive to live with the same kindness and compassion she exemplified every day.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Josefina Salazar welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
