It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jose "Joe" Collado, who left this world peacefully on October 12, 2026. Born on January 16, 1944, in Sison, Pangasinan, Philippines, Jose was the beloved son of the late Jose Collado, Sr. and Raymunda Dingle Collado. A man of charisma, hard work, and resilience, Jose touched countless lives throughout his 82 years.
Jose’s life was a tapestry woven with ambition and dedication. He was a man whose charisma and entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly in every endeavor. After making an indelible mark in sales with the photography company PCA, Jose pursued his dream of entrepreneurship by opening Collado’s Washateria off Telephone Road. His passion for building something of his own continued with the establishment of Regal Blinds and Shades, a testament to his enduring commitment to self-employment. In his later years, Jose embarked on a new journey as a truck driver for Stevens Transport, where he continued to make meaningful connections.
He is survived by his devoted partner, Jeanette Janer, whose love and support were a constant source of strength, and whose unwavering love and dedication brought immense joy and comfort to Jose's life. He is also survived by his siblings, Maura, Tony and Felicing. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his children: Joemer, Rosalinda, Mark and his wife Melissa, Jose "Junior" and his wife Kasey, and Michael and his wife Carla. Our "Lolo's" spirit and wisdom will continue to inspire his cherished grandchildren: Charles "JayR.", Julienne, Joshua, Joice Anne, Nicholas "Nick" and his wife Andrea, Aidan, Isaiah, Chloe, Stella, Gabriella "Gabby", and Natalia. Finally, the light of the next generation is seen in his great grandchild, Eleanor "Ellie".
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Rosalinda and brother-in-law Jesus, brother Abellardo, sister Demetria and sister Juliette. His memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate to know him and feel his love.
