Obituary In loving memory of Jorge Bardales, born on November 4, 1959, in the city of Puerta Cortez, Honduras, who departed this world on August 13, 2026. Jorge was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, whose heartwarming laughter and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Jorge was the cherished son of Guillermo (Willie) Ordonez, and Gladys Ordonez. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother, grandparents Rogelio Angarita and Edna Saavedra, and his precious granddaughter, Elena Shed. Jorge's legacy lives on through his devoted children: Jessica and her partner Shawn, Jason and his wife Ashley. John and his wife Georgetta, and Derrick and his wife Victoria. His life was further enriched by his four treasured grandchildren: Mya, Lanaya, Nariyah, Nathaniel, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Rodolfo Bardales and Jessica Ordonez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jorge was surrounded by a vast circle of friends who cherished his company and companionship. Jorge served his country with honor and dedication in the Army from 1976 to 1996, a testament to his unwavering commitment and patriotism. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community as a dedicated USPS mail carrier for over twenty years, forging connections with people from all walks of life. Jorge possessed a vibrant personality, known for his quick wit and the infectious laughter that could light up any room. He had an extraordinary ability to find humor in life's challenges, always ready with a clever comeback that left those around him smiling. His love for bowling was a passion he indulged in frequently, often found at the lanes enjoying friendly competition and camaraderie. A man of many friends, Jorge was blessed with a rich tapestry of relationships that he nurtured throughout his life. His warmth and genuine care for others earned him the love and respect of countless individuals who were fortunate to call him a friend. A viewing service to celebrate Jorge's remarkable life will be held on August 21, 2026, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home located at 1615 S Fort Hood St, Killeen, TX 76542. The service will commence at 5:00p.m.- 7:00p.m., where family and friends will gather to honor the memory of a truly remarkable man. There will also be a memorial at the Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Jorge's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched, a testament to a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and a legacy of kindness that will endure for generations to come.
