In Loving Memory

Jonathan Cameron
May 7, 2014 — October 5, 2026
Jonathan Cameron, a bright and spirited young soul, was born on May 7, 2014, in Jacksonville. He was taken from us far too soon on October 5, 2026, at the tender age of 12, due to a tragic car crash. Jonathan was the cherished son of Antwan Tyrone Cameron, who held his beloved boy close in every possible moment.
In his brief time with us, Jonathan touched the hearts of all who knew him with his infectious laughter and boundless energy. His moments of joy often came from playing soccer with friends, exploring the wonders of nature, and finding solace in the simple pleasures of reading his favorite adventure stories. Jonathan's curiosity about the world was matched only by his kindness and empathy, which he showed to everyone he met.
Jonathan was predeceased by his dear grandfather, Michael Frison, whose gentle wisdom and love for storytelling left a lasting impression on him. The memory of their shared stories and family gatherings will forever be cherished.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jonathan’s life on October 18, 2026, at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, located at 8531 N Main St. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m., where all who loved him can come together to remember and honor his precious life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jonathan’s memory to a charity of their choice. This gesture will help continue the spirit of generosity and compassion that Jonathan exhibited throughout his life.
Jonathan's light, though extinguished far too soon, will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remind us of the beauty and innocence of childhood, and the profound impact one small life can have on the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Jonathan Cameron welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
