Jojo Beans, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on her birthday, April 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with undiagnosed cancer. Born on April 6, 2000, in the charming town of Beantown, Jojo's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Jojo was the cherished daughter of Mojo and Yellow Beans, who predeceased her, alongside her parents Yellow and White, and her dear son, Tito. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her surviving family members, including her devoted husband of 64 years, Peepers, their five children, and the countless grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as Grandma Jojo. Though some of her grandchildren's names are known, there are many others who shared a special bond with her, each one holding a unique place in her heart. Jojo and Peepers shared a beautiful journey together, marked by love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Their love story was one of mutual respect and enduring commitment, a testament to the power of true companionship. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, creating a warm and welcoming home for their family. Though her formal education was simply noted as “went to school somewhere,” Jojo's real legacy was found in her role as the best homemaker and grandma around. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and comfort, where the aroma of homemade meals filled the air and laughter echoed through the walls. She was a master of the little things that made life beautiful, from her lovingly tended garden to the intricate crochet projects she gifted her loved ones. Jojo was a woman of deep faith, finding solace and community within her church and the women's club she was a part of. These gatherings were a source of strength and camaraderie, where she forged lasting friendships and shared her generous spirit. Her hobbies and interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. Jojo's passion for family and food brought her loved ones together around the dinner table, while her love for gardening and rock painting added beauty to the world around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether through a spirited game of Words with Friends or the quiet satisfaction of helping others. Known for always listening and trying to help, Jojo was a beacon of kindness and empathy. Her ability to lend an ear and offer support was a gift she shared freely, touching the lives of many with her gentle presence and unwavering compassion. In honoring Jojo's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing her family to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. In lieu of flowers, the family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out in support during this difficult time. Jojo Beans leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unyielding strength. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, a guiding light that will continue to inspire and uplift those she loved.
