Johnterrrio Levon’tae Collins

In loving memory of Johnterrrio Levon’tae Collins, affectionately known as Terrio, who brought joy and light into the world on December 9, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was profound and everlasting. Terrio's life was a testament to love and devotion, beginning with his early days in the Red Sea of Africa. His journey brought him to Memphis, where he became an active member of the Cordova Aquarium community. With an infectious enthusiasm and a genuine love for aquatic life, Terrio was well-regarded by all who knew him. His dedication extended beyond the aquarium, as he served as President at Petco for a year, where his leadership and warmth earned him the admiration and affection of those around him. From a young age, Terrio embraced a life of faith, committing himself to Christ and finding solace and community at the Peace Baptist AllStar Missionary Church of God in Christ. His unwavering faith was a guiding light throughout his life and instilled in him a deep sense of purpose and compassion. Terrio found simple joys in life, with a particular fondness for swimming in circles, a pastime that brought him endless delight and peace. His love for the water was a reflection of his boundless spirit and zest for life. Terrio leaves behind a loving family who cherished every moment with him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Marcie Collins, and his siblings: Tyra of St. Louis, and Kameron, Kaylen, and Akira, all from Memphis, Tennessee. He is also remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by his kindness and joy. A celebration of Terrio's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at the Peace Baptist Church, located at 1537 Tayner Street. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Petco Cordova for their compassionate care and support. In honor of Terrio's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting the spirit of generosity and love that Terrio embodied throughout his life.
