June 26, 1950 — October 15, 2026

Johnny Perrault, a beloved son, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this world on October 15, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on June 26, 1950, in Silver City, New Mexico, Johnny spent his final years at Paloma Springs Assisted Living in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, where he was surrounded by compassionate care and support. A proud Army National Guard veteran, Johnny dedicated a portion of his life to serving his country. His sense of duty and commitment was not only evident in his military service but also in his everyday life. A passionate cyclist, Johnny found joy and liberation on two wheels, participating in numerous competitions and choosing his bike as his preferred mode of transportation. For Johnny, every ride was a celebration of life, a testament to his zest for living and his appreciation for the world around him. Johnny's journey was marked by a complex tapestry of family ties, woven with threads of deep loyalty, love, and occasional discord. While some moments with his siblings and extended family were filled with laughter and shared experiences, others were characterized by differences and unresolved tensions. Nonetheless, Johnny was a man of strong convictions, valuing self-reliance and the courage to stand by his beliefs. These qualities endeared him to those who shared his path and left an indelible mark on their lives. He now joins a Heavenly Reunion with his parents, Alfred and Esther Perrault; his sister, Virginia Grace, and his brothers, Raymond and Joe Perrault. His legacy lives on through his surviving family members: brother Tony Perrault; sisters Mary Montoya, Esther Perrault, Janette Madrid, Patricia Dominguez, Priscilla Cruz, Helen Luna"John", Consuelo Emma Rice"Ralph", and Clara Rosales"Fred". Johnny's presence will be deeply missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished him. In accordance with the wishes of his surviving family, Johnny's ashes will be interred at the family cemetery in the lower Mimbres at a future date, where they will be blessed and laid to rest by his immediate family. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Paloma Springs Assisted Living for providing Johnny with compassionate care during his stay. They also wish to acknowledge the honor given through the military ceremony as Johnny was escorted from the facility.
