Johnathon Coomer, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, peacefully departed this world on September 8, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on July 26, 1971, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Johnathon's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Johnathon was the cherished son of the late Paul and Joyce Coomer, who instilled in him values of kindness and compassion that he carried throughout his life. He was also preceded in death by his two precious granddaughters, Everlee Rayne Coomer and Amelia Caroline Rose Coomer, whose memories he held close to his heart.
A devoted father, Johnathon is survived by his loving children: Katelynn (Dillon) Ripple, Jessica Johnston, Wes Coomer, Brady Hoffman, and Kyle Coomer. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Issac Ripple, Izabella Ripple, and Kolton Johnson, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Johnathon's warmth and kindness extended beyond his immediate family, as he shared a special bond with his close friend, Tina Hoffman mother to three of his children. His sisters, Amy (Tyrone) Humphries and Sophia (William) Parker, along with his nieces, Chelsey and Cierra Humphries, and nephews, Dallas and Shayne Pruitt, and Daniel and William (Jr.) Parker, will forever cherish the memories of his gentle spirit and infectious laughter.
Throughout his life, Johnathon was known for his generous heart and unwavering support for those around him. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated, fostering connections that transcended time and distance.
Johnathon's family finds solace in the outpouring of love and support from all who knew him.
